WHO: Would stopping the games somehow stop Zika? And the answer is no
Speaking to the Today programme Nyka Alexander from the World Health Organisation explains why cancelling or changing the location of the Rio Olympic Games would not significantly alter the spread of the Zika virus.
She was responding to an open letter to the WHO signed by more than one hundred medical experts, who say it would be unethical for the Games in Brazil to go ahead in August because of the danger to public health.
