Ex-BBC chairman questions 'lost' impartiality
A former chairman of the BBC Trust has questioned whether parts of the Corporation lost impartiality in the run up to charter renewal.
Sir Michael Lyons was speaking to Martha Kearney on the World At One as the Culture Secretary, John Whittingdale, announced an overhaul of how the BBC is run.
There had been "extraordinary" attacks from senior BBC correspondents on the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, argued Sir Michael.
