Indian activist: I was smeared with black oil paint
In January 2016 Indian activist Sudheendra Kulkarni was covered with black oil paint by a Hindu nationalist party, Shiv Sena, for hosting a book launch by a former Pakistan foreign minister.
Mr Kulkarni said: "They have not blackened me. But they have blackened our ethos of dialogue. We need dialogue especially with our adversaries to ensure that we overcome problems."
Hugh Sykes reports on the continuing tensions between India and Pakistan.
