Do wood burning stoves contribute to air pollution?
Indoor air pollution contributes to about 40,000 premature deaths a year in the UK, according to research published jointly by the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Dr Nicola Carslaw, Reader in Air Pollution at the University of York, says spray deodorants, cleaning products, air fresheners, fly spray and wood-burning stoves can contribute to poor health.
