The reporter who followed Lord Lucan for years
Former Evening Standard reporter Keith Dovkants followed Lord Lucan for years and claims police said it was not "politically or financially possible" for them to follow up alleged sighting of the missing peer in Africa.
A High Court judge has ruled that Lucan is presumed to be dead. A death certificate has been issued 42 years after he vanished when his children's nanny Sandra Rivett was bludgeoned to death in London.
