Apartheid enforcer Adriaan Vlok's path to redemption
South Africa's apartheid era was marked by detention without trial, torture, assassinations and extreme brutality. Adriaan Vlok is seeking redemption for his actions as minister for law and order under apartheid by washing the feet of those he wronged and delivering free food around a poor township near Pretoria.
The picture shows Adriaan Vlok, a born-again Christian, delivering food to the Olievenhoutbosch Disability Centre, South Africa.
