Treasure QuestChickens, a dog and a dragon!Treasure Quest - Sunday 31st August 2014

Julie Reinger was out hunting the clues in the east of the county this week.

  • Julie was on the coast at California to start this week's quest
  • Julie was sporting the socks-and-sandals look to start the quest, as she'd left her boots behind by mistake!
  • Clue one fairly quickly led Julie to the village of Burgh Castle, but it wasn't clear what she was looking for
  • Note the footwear - Julie ended up with some messy toes!
  • It was eventually worked out that the clue led to this house, Little Mary's Cottage
  • Safety first

  • The eponymous Mary, after whom Little Mary's Cottage is named
  • Clue two was more easily solved, and took Julie down the road to the village of Thurlton
  • Next it was off to St Mary's Church in Sisland, and the ruins of the old church on the site
  • The church at Sisland is a replacement for one destroyed in the 18th century
  • It was straight to another church to find the fifth and final clue
  • Clue five was in the font at St Edmund's Church
  • With just three minutes to spare, Julie reached the final location
  • To earn the treasure, Julie had to enter the "fire experience" at the open day
  • Julie gets the treasure!
  • The Questmaster had even bought her a proper treasure this week!
  • Julie and Dennis the Dinosaur celebrate a successful Treasure Quest!
