PM listeners' sounds: Chickens eating cabbage
Listener Andrew Mackie sent this recording of his chickens eating cabbage. He explains: "We have four of them and they are fond of all sorts of food - but particularly cabbage. It's nice to be in the garden when the chickens are eating their cabbage as they make a very relaxing 'lowing' sound. Nothing could be further from the strident clucking normally associated with the birds. It's very relaxing and keeps me out in the garden even with the rubbish weather we've been having lately."
