How do you know if you're being paid properly on a Bank Holiday?
John Lewis has admitted it has inadvertently underpaid thousands of staff members who worked Sundays and Bank Holidays over the last seven years. It will now spend £40 million compensating them.
The department store group will make one-off payments to 69,000 of its employees as a result of the accounting error.
