Actress Carey Mulligan talks about how dementia has affected her family
Eight hundred thousand people in the UK have dementia but despite there being no cure and few effective treatments research is hugely under funded.
The Alzheimer's Society is hoping to change that, as is their ambassador, the oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan, whose grandmother was diagnosed with alzheimer’s nine years ago.
Carey joined Charlie and Louise on the sofa along with Jeremy Hughes, chief executive of the charity.
