Nicholas Cage covers frozen ground as a state trooper in search of a serial killer

Hollywood star Nicolas Cage may be known as a maverick but he claims that image was one he actually chose to create for himself.

He says he now leads a simple life in Las Vegas and describes himself as a 'pretty boring guy'.

The actor has been talking to Breakfast’s Charlie Stayt ahead of the release of his new film, the true story of a notorious serial killer.

The Frozen Ground is released in cinemas on July 19.
