Hindu beliefs about God
For Hindus there is only one supreme God, and that god is manifest through hundreds of forms, each representing a different aspect and quality. The one supreme god is often shown through its three main qualities, each taking the form of a different god, Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver) and Shiva (the destroyer).
