Did the BBC get Jubilee coverage wrong?

Gillian Reynolds, the Daily Telegraph's radio critic, says she felt "let down" by the BBC's coverage of the Thames River Pageant while Mark Damazer, former controller of Radio 4, says the coverage was attempting to be "informal… inclusive and warm".
