Grief and Justice

A service on Grief and Justice from West Croydon Baptist Church to mark All Saints and All Souls.

Elianne Andam, was 15 years-old when she was murdered in a stabbing in Croydon in September 2023. Her cousin the Rev Denzil Larbi leads this service, from West Croydon Baptist Church, to mark All Saints and All Souls.

The service reflects on Grief and Justice and how belief in God has shaped the church’s response to both. We hear from those close to Elianne about her faith and how they hope her death can be used for change - in preventing violence against women and girls and by deterring young people from carrying knives.
