Colours of Autumn
A special omnibus featuring readings and music about autumn played on Essential Classics.
To mark the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness", Radio 3's weekly selection of readings set alongside music links up with the mid-morning programme Essential Classics. The readers, including Anton Lesser, bring us poems about apple picking and falling leaves alongside music which includes suggestions from the Essential Classics audience, who contribute to the daily playlister challenge at 11 each day.
Produced by Helen Garrison and Robyn Read
You can find Friday's special episode of Essential Classics, broadcast from Calke Abbey, available on BBC Sounds.
