Bells on Sunday comes from the parish church of St John the Baptist, Egham in Surrey. The present church was built in 1817 and stands on the site of a former Norman building. By 1912 there were eight bells in the tower cast by the Gillet and Johnston foundry of Croydon. In 1971 these were augmented to a ring of ten by Whitechapel of London. The tenor weighs sixteen and three-quarter hundredweight and is tuned to the note of F. We hear them ringing Bristol Surprise Royal.
