Kate Molleson introduces a programme of new music from Bryn Harrison and Ensemble GBSR from Sheffield, his extensive series of pieces ‘Transformations and Litanies’ for vibraphone, piano and electronics, presented as part of Music in the Round in the Crucible Theatre; plus highlights from the Black Lights festival, held in the historic Opera House in Blackpool and featuring music from Oliver Leith and a new commission from Mica Levi for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
