Call You and Yours - Vet Costs

Pet ownership has never been more popular in the UK, but its also never been more expensive. An investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority found that average prices of vet services rose by 63% between 2016 and 2023. New rules aimed at bringing down prices as well as making them more transparent come into force this week. They include things like a cap on prescription charges, published price lists and written estimates ahead of treatment. Some vets have brought in changes already.
