Petroc Trelawny welcomes pianist and composer Olivia Belli to the studio. She performs live and discusses her upcoming concert at Southbank Centre's Purcell Room on 10/09 - her debut at the London venue - with a programme celebrating Philip Glass at 90. Joining Petroc down the line for a live interview from Mahler's composing hut in Toblach, conductor Philipp von Steinaecker talks about leading the Mahler Academy Orchestra at the BBC Proms on 11/09, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Petroc also speaks to Marina Mahler, Gustav and Alma Mahler's granddaughter, and hears from Mahler Academy Orchestra's new recording of Mahler's Fifth Symphony which is out now on Alpha Classics.
