The Police - Synchronicity

For their final album, The Police create their most enduring songs on Synchronicity.

The Police weren't well know for being the best of mates.

Despite easily being one of the most successful bands of the era, over the course of their five studio albums, the relationships between Sting, Stuart Copeland, and Andy Summers were often fraught and unpredictable. Fights would occur at the drop of a hat, occasionally turning physical.

And by the time of Synchronicity in 1983, they were recording in separate rooms to avoid any bust ups.

They might not have known the end was nigh, but on what would become their final record, they gave it their all, and delivered a show-stopper in true Police style. Containing some of the best songs they ever wrote, Synchronicity is a record that still compels the listener to sit up and take notice.
