Episode 6

The Special Operations Response Team are called to the scene of a mountain bike accident in a hilly patch of East Ayrshire woodland. The patient’s bike seat has broken, causing him a painful and potentially dangerous injury. SORT crewmates Pam and Rob must now figure out how to move the patient across difficult ground and into a waiting ambulance. Fortunately, they have their Wolverine all-terrain vehicle to hand.

Based in a community of around 10,000 people, Buckie teammates Vicki and Elaine often encounter friends and acquaintances on their ambulance shifts. They treat Isabella, who is struggling with breathing difficulties caused by her COPD, and old school bus driver George, who is displaying the signs of a stroke.
