A judge has ordered social media giant Meta to pay another $567m for its failure to warn the public about dangers its platforms posed to children, marking the largest against the company over child safety. This brings up their total fines to $942m. During the ruling, Judge Bryan Biedscheid called the social media giant a "public nuisance". Do you agree? Is social media a public nuisance?

New figures from the British Retail Consortium show that heatwave conditions have continued to affect the number of people going shopping. The total UK footfall - which includes high streets, shopping centres, and retail parks - was down 2% in July, compared with the previous year. So, are you still heading to the high street?
