Winners and Losers

Dr Graham Daniels, former professional footballer and general director of Christians in Sport, leads a service to mark the climax of the FIFA World Cup.

Dr Graham Daniels, a former professional footballer and general director of the organisation Christians in Sport, leads a special service from Cardiff to mark today's FIFA World Cup Final. Dr Daniels will reflect on the highs and lows of winning, and the message that identity is not to be found in either of these, but through faith in Christ. Graham will also be talking to Zak Lyndon-Jones, CEO of Cardiff City Foundation, a charitable wing bringing football and social action together.

Readings are taken from Hebrews 12.1-3 and from Ephesians 2 8-10 and are read by Christians in Sport members Lloyd Thomas and Tasha Morton. Prayers are led by Laura Murdoch.

Hymns include the following:

Let All the World in Every Corner Sing
Yet Not I but Christ in Me
The Servant King
In Christ Alone
Christ Our Hope in Life and Death
