The Royal Family’s annual financial report has been released. The accounts show the main source of annual public funding for the Royal Household, the core element of the Sovereign Grant, will nearly double within three years to just under £100m by 2027-28. However, the King has also become the first monarch to disclose their tax bill. It shows that he paid £12.9m in tax for 2024-2025 – putting him in the top 100 of UK taxpayers. Is the Royal Family value for money?

A new poll has suggested that half of women who have been through the menopause opted to ‘carry on as usual’ at all times, even while experiencing sometimes severe discomforts.
