Christina Trevanion visits a pub frozen in time, where last orders were called in the 1960s and everything was left untouched. In the Devon town of Buckfastleigh, the Valiant Soldier was an inn for more than two centuries and is now a museum, giving visitors a glimpse into the past. Inside the recreated interior, Christina is told about the pub’s redoubtable landlady and the custom back in the 60s of refusing service to women in the bar.

In Hele, near Exeter, two teams of shoppers rush around an antiques centre with their experts, hoping to bag profitable bargains. On the red team are dad and daughter Ade and Mel, helped by Ben Cooper, and for the blues, it’s friends Martin and Mark, aided by Gary Pe. With 60 minutes on the clock, the blue team’s first stop is a shining suit of armour. Across the centre, Mel gazes into a £200 crystal ball – does it foretell a win for the reds?

In Chippenham, auctioneer Tim Weeks confidently predicts a few profits for the teams, but who will go home the victor?
