On 4 August 1990, two walkers in the Scottish Highlands snapped a photograph of an unidentified object hovering above a remote glen.

The striking image disappeared, the witnesses were never traced, and the story was never published.

Decades later a forgotten print emerged from a retired official’s garage, reigniting debate about what was seen that day over the small Scottish hamlet of Calvine.
