Eliane Correa’s Mixtape

Jas Kayser is back with more of the best jazz from the UK and around the world, and she welcomes London based Latina pianist and bandleader Eliane Correa as her mixtape guest.

Tonight on ‘Round Midnight, Jas is joined by London based Latina pianist, composer and bandleader Eliane Correa. A pioneering figure in the UK’s Latin music community, Eliane leads her Cuban timba fusion orchestra Eliane Correa & La Evolución, has worked as an MD for ensembles including New Regency Orchestra, and is a curator for the London Latin Jazz Fest. She has also performed extensively with Hans Zimmer.

This Friday night, Eliane presents a 30-minute curated mixtape, celebrating some of the music she loves most, and which draws in both jazz and Latin music traditions.
