Alan in Carryduff has a wee joke.
“You had a lady talking about people overusing the word ‘wee,’” says Alan in Carryduff. “Our family had a tool shop and we sold a 6-inch steel rule for the aircraft yard - Shorts. People used to come in asking for a ‘wee Shorts 6-inch rule’. And it would drive me mad, so I would bring out a 4-inch rule instead to wind them up!”
