Ameretat

S and K from Ameretat explore our common humanity with an hour of their favourite punk, metal, and hardcore tracks.

Ameretat are a group based in the Iranian diaspora, who blend traditional Iranian musical and literary influences with crust, hardcore and drone. Using both ancient and modern instruments, they explore themes of war, power, love and humanity in multiple languages including Persian, Kurdish and English.

This is the first of a series of playlists from acts playing this years' Supersonic festival in Birmingham.
