Lambing time on the farm

This week, Ifan Jones Evans is at home on the farm in the Ceredigion hills, and experiences the ups and downs of lambing, in all sorts of weather. It’s certainly been an eventful few weeks of lambing so far. The kids also help out in their unique way!

We also hear from veterinary surgeon Catriona Benson, who along with her husband Jonathan, run animal husbandry courses at their Llandrinio smallholding, not far from the Wales-England border. Their aim is to equip farmers and smallholders with the fundamentals to do the best they can when caring for their livestock.
