Dead Goat Session
Local alt-folk supergroup Dead Goat in session.
Dead Goat are a local alt-folk supergroup made up of luminaries from the Irish music scene. Mark McCausland (from the Lost Brothers and McKowski), Matt McGinn, Declan McManus and Stevie Scullion (from Malojian), began jamming during lockdown. There was no intention beyond enjoying each other’s company and making music. However, the songs flowed and, before they knew it, they had recorded their wonderful self-titled debut album. The band recorded three songs live in session and chatted to Stephen about the joy of collaboration.
