Day 1, Part 1

Coverage of the morning session on day one of the event, held this year at Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Torun, Poland. The men's heptathlon gets underway with the 60m, long jump and shot put, and the first medals of the championship are awarded in the women's high jump, which saw Australians Nicola Olyslager and Eleanor Patterson finish first and second respectively in 2025.
