Diarmuid Gavin and Carol Klein lead the search, with guest judge and passionate gardener Penny Lancaster, to find Northern Ireland’s greatest garden.

The judges face a difficult decision when it comes to choosing. Ivydene garden near Comber is spread across three acres. Owners Robert and Michael have three separate areas of planting - a formal layout at the front of their home, a secret garden at the side, and at the back, a wildflower meadow and woodland area.

In total contrast, there’s a tropical backyard over in Lisburn, where owner George has sourced unusual plants from all around the world. Finally, the judges view a rock garden in Ballynahinch. A large expanse of native rock dominates this four-acre garden, created by passionate owner Brigid.

Diarmuid, Carol and Penny are searching for a garden which the owners have poured their heart and soul into creating. Which will they decide is worthy of a place in the Greatest Garden final?
