Mark speaks to the first ever winner of Folk Album of the Year, which was announced at Rochdale Town Hall last night.

The new Folk Album of the Year Award has been established by the charity Sound Roots. It celebrates folk, roots and acoustic albums made in Britain and Ireland. The 2025 shortlist included:
