Remembering Motörhead's Phil Campbell

Shaun salutes Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell, who died last week, with another chance to hear Phil's Rock God from 2019.

Phil Campbell joined Motörhead in 1984 and became the band's longest serving guitarist.

He stayed with the veteran rockers until they disbanded shortly after frontman Lemmy’s death in 2015.

Phil went on to tour with his own band, Phil Campbell and the Sons, alongside his three boys Todd, Dane and Tyla. He died last week aged 64.

Shaun will salute Phil on the show, airing his Rock God which he recorded for us back in 2019.

Produced by Listen Entertainment for BBC Radio 2.
