Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical music.
George Frideric Handel's stately Sarabande begins tonight's Classical Mixtape. French orchestral textures come in the shape of Germaine Tailleferre's Concertino for Harp and Orchestra, and Debussy's impressionistic 'Jeux de vagues' from La Mer. Karol Szymanowski and Pēteris Vasks also feature, and Leonard Bernstein's iconic 'Somewhere' from the Symphonic dances of 'West Side Story' closes the sequence.
Produced by Joe Blamey.
