Bob's 'Best of the Test' features the debut performance of Gary Numan with Tubeway Army from the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1979.

On the 22nd May 1979, Gary Numan made his TV debut on the Old Grey Whistle Test with Tubeway Army.
Fast forward to now and Gary is still active, he's recently announced a headline show at London's Crystal Palace Bowl this summer. Bob has selected that first groundbreaking debut for his 'Best of the Test'.

There is a big rock birthday on the way...David Gilmour celebrates his 80th birthday at the start of March so Bob will tip his hat to the Pink Floyd legend.
