Building a Library: Professor Laura Tunbridge surveys recordings of Dvorak's String Quintet Op. 97. Scored for string quartet with an extra viola, Dvorak's String Quintet Op. 97 was written immediately after his 'American' Quartet, in just over a month, whilst the composer was spending the summer in Spillville, Iowa in 1893.
