The 145th Open Annual Exhibition of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, or RSW, opened in Edinburgh at the weekend. Established in the 19th century, the society offers a platform for artists to showcase their work in Edinburgh and also promotes the importance of watercolour as a contemporary medium.
