Highlights of the Glenfiddich Piping Championship
Gary West introduces highlights from this year’s Glenfiddich Championships at Blair Castle.
While there is no official world championship title for solo piping, the Glenfiddich Championship held each year at Blair Castle in Highland Perthshire serves that purpose in all but name. Ten of the world’s elite players are invited to go head to head, guaranteeing a day of the very finest piping. In this, our first highlights programme from the event, Gary West introduces sets from Callum Beaumont, Fred Morrison, Angus MacColl, Connor Sinclair and the overall winner, who took the title for the 9th time in his career, Willie McCallum.
