Gary West brings you more top performances from the elite grade at this year's world pipe band championships held on Glasgow Green earlier this month.
Gary West brings you more highlights from this year’s world pipe band championships, with music from some highly experienced competitors as well as from three newcomers who were making their debut at the elite level this year on Glasgow Green. In that category we feature sets from Closkelt from County Down in Northern Ireland, and from two bands from the southern reaches of the USA, St Thomas Alumni from Houston in Texas and the City of Dunedin from Florida. The more experienced bands who feature this week include the Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia, Johnstone, the 78th Fraser Highlanders from Ontario, and two bands drawn from across the home nation's constabulary, Police Scotland and Federation, and Police Scotland Fife.
