The remaining five chefs tackle the last challenge of the semi-finals. They must each cook an outstanding dish to win over four of the country’s most feared restaurant critics – Grace Dent, William Sitwell, Jay Rayner and Jimi Famurewa. Serving food to these masters of the dining room is a daunting task for the most adept chef, and any mistakes could cost the semi-finalists their places in the competition.
