Crime in England and Wales has passed the five million mark for the first time in 10 years
The number of crimes recorded annually in England and Wales has passed the five million mark for the first time in 10 years with a 13 per cent rise. The Office for National Statistics said there was a 19 per cent rise in violent crime, including stalking and harassment.
