1. No Escape

Autumn 1916: Edith wants to start a new life with Aylmer, but she can't shake off her ex-husband Bruce. Stars Ifan Meredith.

Based on characters from Ada Leverson's trilogy of novels, writer Martyn Wade draws the delightful and romantic entanglements of the Ottleys to a close.

Autumn 1916 - Edith, Aylmer and Bruce remain in their infernal, triangular charade and seem as helpless and doomed as they ever were.

Edith's scheme of shuttling between Aylmer (the love of her life) in Jermyn Street and Bruce (her hopeless former husband) in Sloane Street, is not going to work.

What on earth Edith wonders, is to become of them all........
