Consumers who complained about mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) received more than £200 million in compensation over the first six months of the year. That sounds a lot, but when you compare it to the £7.4 billion that the banks have set aside to cover thier PPI mis-selling, you can see that this is just the beginning . Ben Heffer, from the financial research company Defaqto, updates us on the saga. We also look at the deadline on football transfers, women equality and pay as well as the markets and papers.
