Many Asian youngsters are missing out on good jobs - only 3 per cent of people on apprenticeship schemes are Asian. Household energy bills could go up by almost 200 pounds a year.
Many Asian youngsters are missing out on good job opportunities because their parents insist they go to university - only 3% of young people in the UK on "apprenticeship schemes" are Asian. A national campaign has now been launched to recruit 300 young Asians who didn't do well at school and are looking for a job.
Two and half million Scottish Power customers across the UK are set to be hit by a rise of up to 19% in electricity and gas prices. Its feared energy bills could go up by almost £200 for every household this year.
