The Best Page is a Rampage

The new poet-in-residence has a run-in with 'the man', which gets his creative juices flowing. Stars James Quinn. From May 2002.

Sir Ralph joins the list of writers finding themselves under the oppressive jackboot of the law.

It's sparked by discovering that a skateboard he forked out for was stolen.

A run-in gets the poet-in-residence's creative juices flowing.

Thanks to a specially funded scheme, Sir Ralph is now striding the streets, wearing a Panama hat, blazer and silk scarf.

His goal is to mix with the people of Salford and express their angst through his verse.

Written by and starring James Quinn as Sir Ralph Stanza.
