The BBC Symphony Chorus makes regular appearances at the BBC Proms, including major contributions to the 2026 season. The Chorus joins the BBC Symphony Orchestra and BBC Singers for the First Night conducted by the orchestra’s Principal Guest Conductor Dalia Stasevska, returns for Rossini’s Stabat mater under Nil Venditti, and will perform with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Singers and BBC SO Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo at the Last Night of the Proms. The Chorus also performs with Sir Antonio Pappano and the London Symphony Orchestra in Berlioz’s monumental Requiem.

Performances with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in its 2026/27 concert season at the Barbican include the UK premiere of Caroline Shaw’s The Listeners conducted by Dalia Stasevska, Mendelssohn’s The First Walpurgis Night under Sakari Oramo and Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust conducted by Dinis Sousa. The Chorus will also appear in Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé and Liszt’s A Faust Symphony conducted by Sakari Oramo.

Most performances are broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and the Chorus features on a wide range of acclaimed recordings, including a Grammy-nominated release of Holst’s First Choral Symphony and a Gramophone Award-winning recording of The Dream of Gerontius.
