More about WesleyWesley is one of Oxfordshire's best-known faces from more than twenty years with ITV. During that time, Wes interviewed three Prime Ministers, appeared in "Inspector Morse" both on the TV and in one of Colin Dexter's books and reported on all the major stories in the county and beyond. "I feel I know this region inside out and hope to put my experience to good use in my new role on BBC Oxford 95.2FM," Wes told us. Wes reported live from Oxford throughout the summer floods of 2007, was let loose at the wheel of a bus on the airfield at Dalton Barracks in Abingdon and switched on the Christmas lights in Cornmarket. He's interviewed countless celebrities and fronted a number of current affairs and political programmes as well as the news. "I'm really enjoying being at BBC Oxford. I've long-admired the skills of radio presenters and am thrilled at having the opportunity to try my hand at something new, have more time to talk to people and have some fun." last updated: 12/06/2009 at 16:03 Have Your SayAndrew Baker Laurence T davefarris LORRAINE LEE SEE ALSOYou are in: Oxford > BBC Oxford > Articles > Wesley Smith |
