On the 18th September 2008, London became the host city for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. For the next four years we will start to see cultural projects across the whole of the UK that have been inspired by the Olympic spirit. The weekend of 26-28 September was the launch of this exciting cultural programme, designed to enable the widest range of people across the UK to take part. As part of this weekend we were delighted to offer free tours of some of our most interesting BBC buildings. All of the places on the tours are now booked so if you missed out then you can watch the online guided tour and see behind the scenes at 269 Banbury Road.
